The NCA Gallery Hall is proud to present "Island Voices," a groundbreaking contemporary art exhibition featuring works from 15 of the Maldives' most exciting contemporary artists. The exhibition explores themes of identity, environmental conservation, and the evolving cultural heritage of the island nation.

Curated by renowned art critic Aishath Nium, the exhibition spans multiple mediums including oil paintings, mixed-media installations, digital art, and traditional lacquer work reimagined for modern audiences. Each artist brings a unique perspective on what it means to be Maldivian in the 21st century.

"Island Voices" runs from June 12 to July 12 at the NCA Gallery Hall. Admission is free, and guided tours are available every Saturday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. School groups are encouraged to book guided visits in advance. A limited-edition exhibition catalogue featuring essays on each artist will be available for purchase at the gallery shop.
